Sera Gamble is a screen and television writer and producer. For seven seasons, she worked on the series Supernatural -- currently the longest-running scripted program on the CW network. She became an executive producer of the show in season five, and went on to showrun seasons six and seven.
Previously, Sera was a writer on the short-lived but critically acclaimed series Eyes.
Sera's maiden voyage into the world of the Hollywood pitch meeting was somewhat unorthodox: it took place on national television, when she was a screenwriter finalist on the second season of HBO's Project Greenlight.
Sera also writes essays and fiction. Two of her stories have been anthologized in the Best American Erotica series. Her work has also appeared in journals such as Washington Square and on Nerve, been included in university curricula, and been published in Italian.
Sera is a long time Los Angeles resident. According to her phone, she's listened to over one thousand hours of podcasts while stuck in traffic. She likes LA anyway.
Sera is a big fan of bookstores you can visit in real life, obscure facts about the human brain, getting lost (but not too lost) in strange cities, and bulldogs.
